MULDER TO DL, FYHRIE RECALLED

The Athletics placed starter Mark Mulder on the 15-day disabled list today due to a left forearm strain.  Mulder has been the A's most consistent starter, winning all three decisions and posting a 1.11 ERA.  Two of his starts have been complete games.  He is the only pitcher in the league to post two complete games this season.

The A's have recalled Mike Fyhrie from AAA Sacramento.  He will make Mulder's scheduled start on 4/20 vs. Anaheim.
