A'S MELT IN FINALE

OAKLAND -- The A's melted like a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream on the sprouting tits of an 11 year old girl in the Vegas sun in their finale against New York today.  The Yankees launched a 17-hit attack, delivering Barry Zito his 3rd loss of the season in a fuckin' barn-burner.  Jason Giambi finished the day 4-for-5 with a home run and Jorge Posada was 3-for-4 with 2 big flies.

"I like ice cream, and we fuckin' ate it," Yanks Manager Joe Torre said.

Barry Zito was mere pedestrian in his start today.  He allowed 5 earned runs in 5 innings.  Jeff Tam was abominable in relief, allowing 4 earned runs in 1 inning.

Mike Mussina got the win, going seven strong innings.  Athletics' Scott Hatteberg hit another home run.  He's been hot of late. Derek Jeter came into the game in a 3-for-39 funk and left with 3 hits.

"An ugly fucking game that bothered me slightly, but we took the series.  Can't wait to designate a few relievers," said Maty McNeil.
